Memories....
Well. I think it's a suitable time to remember some stuff before i forget them.
Let's start with the first thing on my mind. The very kind bus uncle.
It was during the holidays that i sat on that bus, with a few other schoolmates i didn't know. I sat at the top deck with 2 others. About 2 stops before mine, he came up during a traffic light and told us, if we rang the bell, wait at the top, and only come down when the bus stopped. he'd wait.
I was surprised. But of course, didn't want inconvinience (good lil' ol' me.) and came down anyway before the traffice light before my stop. LOL. It was cool though...
NEXT! The girl caught in the rain.
I didn't mention this before, but during one of the rainy days around 1 week ago, i saw a girl walking in the rain. umbrellaless. and in uniform. I opened the gate for her but she still slowly walked back home. Guess she didn't want to bother anymore...
NEXT! The girl with a...
....Goodness. She is special. I won't mention much more. Just so you know, it's her face....it's....dis....figured....
NEXT! The sleepover with Mandy and Gwen...
Ah yes. Almost my favourite event of November last year. Though I don't really remember the exact date, (And i'm too lazy to check jie's blog for that...) It was really memorable.
Firstly, I was actually wondering. In the past, (I"M SHARING WITH YOU NOW, SO BE GLAD!) I used to actually have sleepovers with them once a year. for around....4 years. It was either at jie's place or at mine.
Nowadays, since we're old, we don't really have alot. But it takes more than time to break a friendship.
Even if one is a guy and 3 are girls. Yes, buds, you can say wth now.
Anyways, I discussed with my father bout suitable dates. Then talked to mandy and gwen and ju. Ju unfortunately, couldn't come(AGAIN), but not because of time now. it was because of studies xD
But it was a kinda strong response from the other two, and aunty Lucilla agreed. And it was set.
BUT. Things were shaky. Our dates were a little wavering from here to there, as they tried to find a suitable date for themselves. We settled for a i think....Wed-Fri. Yeah.
TOOK A WHOLE MONTH TO SETTLE THAT =.=...
I shall discuss no more, except for the fact that while Gwen slept, jie and I were watching jap shows (IQ tests etc.) on YouTube. LOLLOL. I was like "What do you mean by that!? That makes no sense O.O" so it was ridiculously funny.
NEXT! THE YOUTH CAMP...
OMG. I can't believe i didn't post this. Anyways, It was around the coast of Singapore, almost occupied by malaysia networks. O.O...
First Day!! We took a i think a bus altogether there. tiring walk there....painful. my legs died. NOT.
First up, the flag thingy. We made up a flag (Faithfulness^^) and it was designed by Jeriel, painted by jie, supervised by Cyn, and Mary ofcourse helped by refining things. I helped the design and minor (damn minor) painting. I suck^^
Then it rained, andeveryone crammed inside a small shelter. Continue painting, folks. And eat while you're at it^^. Awesome.
Then icebreaker games. Which was more like blindfold-hide-and-seek in a small hall. I was hired to be my group's catcher....which I lost only to my bro! Dammit!
SECOND DAY!!
Sunday...so that means church service! A bus came down to pick us up and fetched us to the church. I tell you, it was so early (6.00 we woke up O.O) and it was so tiring... I think I slept.
Eat at Zion, chiong back to the camp site, and play a scavenger hunt to Changi Beach, I think. Bad thing: sure some will remember this. While looking for the "hidden prize", I put my hand inside a weird bush, and next thing I knew, my hand was covered with thorns. Thanks to William, Michelle, Cynthia, Mary and Mandy for helping with those countless thorns.
Irony: I got pricked by the SAME kind of bush during the cohort camp. Luckily it was a soft shirt, so all were removed quickly by myself O_O. That's when i found out about the red fire ant hiding in my shirt^^
BACK TO THE CAMP. Then we had protect-your-target-from-water-bombs games. Whcih Faithfulness won. Thanks to Jeriel's putting the target under his shirt, thus protecting it fully. LOL WE WON TOO EASILY!
Then we watched a video called Choices. It had my name and I felt like hiding O_O....
THIRD DAY AND LAST DAY...
One day to the new year!!!
Nothing much except resting and having fun during morning and afternoon...night was the best part.
And the scary part: I was awarded Best Camper....I was surprised, really. I was seriouslyhappy. ^^ Then sharing, which is a FIBC tradition. Hooray!
5...4....3....2....1..... Happy new year. Get out those food and sparklers and light them up! Time for the youths and kids to swing pointless sticks of fires to others!!!!! Another great tradition!!!
And ofcourse, this time I didn't run away after the camp like last year. Noooo, being the second time I've camped for the Youth Camp, and the fact that it was my 4th camp in the year (Sec 1 Cohort, Pattaya, Choir, Then Youth Camp), I was brave enough to stay with my bro through that one last night. I really wanted to stay there longer xDDDD
Then we left for home, of course with my bro and i packing some stuff then getting into my rents' car. Home sweet home...
I will never forget these memories as long as they are here....
